Margo was nothing short of amazing! I can’t recommend her enough, you will not be disappointed!!
I am a new client and this was my first time getting Botox or any injections and I was beyond apprehensive. I was afraid of needles in my face and ending up with negative results. BUT let me tell you for all my fear and sweating — yes I was nervous sweating! — the final result is absolutely mind blowing! I am 44 and have lost some weight loss, so I had deep frown lines and crow’s feet that really bothered me. After the treatment I feel more confident and comfortable smiling, it’s unbelievable!
Margo gently walked me through the process, the various injection options, possible side effects and risks and answered all my questions along the way. In the end I opted for Daxxify for its cleaner ingredients, longer lasting results and subtle glow. Margo applied a numbing cream and let that sit for a while to achieve maximum effectiveness. While we waited for the cream to work, Margo marked my injection sites, asking me questions on my desired results — do I want to just my forehead, the 11s (frown lines between your eyes), crow’s feet, a slight brow lifted effect. We talked through all these options, as well as answering my questions along the way. Ultimately, I decided to go big or go home (which I still wanted to do because, as I said I’m was terrified of the needles!).
As Margo injected at each site she was slow, patient and methodological, checking in with me after each injection and pausing to give me a minute or more between, and giving me soothing words of encouragement. The treatment was over in less than 10 minutes and yes a few of them did still sting, BUT it was soooo quick. There was also no residual pain after each injection. Aftercare was simple with the usual restrictions for the first 48 hours.
Now let’s talk results. Full results are seen by the end of the second week. The most impressive feature of getting Botox (or a similar product) is that results are gradual. You don’t leave the med spa looking 10 years younger and dramatically different to your friends and family. The results are seen day by day until you smile and realize your forehead doesn’t crease, your eyes don’t have crazy lines, the folds between your brows don’t ripple together and you still have natural movement and animation in your face!
This was truly life changing and yes I will do it again and again and again, each time with the same level of needle fear, but I know what’s on the other side and regret not seeing Margo sooner!
This was my first experience with any type of facial injections but I’m certain it won’t be my last. If you’re on the fence about trying it or have had this done but you’re looking for a new injector, I highly recommend Margo!
